With the forecast calling for a 90% to 100% chance of rain throughout tomorrow, we have made the difficult decision to cancel Sunday’s event early to allow our travelling teams, officials, and fans to adjust their plans.
After discussions with DIRTcar officials, we were unfortunately unable to find a suitable makeup date for the DIRTcar 358-Modified Series. As a result, the series will not return to Cornwall in 2026.
The Chico Dingwall Memorial and Fat Les Chip Stand Canadian Nationals will instead be held on Sunday, August 23, featuring a 96-lap main event paying $4,096 to win.
The Battle for a Cure Mini-Stock Series event has been rescheduled to September 6 as part of Championship Night.
The remainder of the scheduled August 2 racing program has been canceled and will not be made up.
It is very rare for us to cancel an event the day before, but with such an unfavorable weather forecast, we felt it was important to make an early decision out of respect for our competitors, teams, officials, and fans.
