With five exciting events on tap—including tribute races and major touring series—the month promises non-stop action for racing fans.
June 1 – Ovide Doiron Memorial / Fat Les Chip Stand Canadian Nationals / DIRTcar Sportsman Series / Lamoureux Pumping Series
The month kicks off with a tribute to local racing legend Ovide Doiron, who recently passed away. A special 40-lap Memorial Race will headline the night, paying $4,040 to win and serving as a round of the Fat Les Chip Stand Canadian Nationals Series. The DIRTcar Sportsman Series returns to Cornwall for the first time in six years and joins the opening round of the Lamoureux Pumping Series. Both races are expected to draw top-tier talent and visiting competitors. A complete racing program rounds out the evening.
June 8 – Lightning Sprints & Full Show
The Lightning Sprints make their first 2025 appearance at Cornwall, with close to 20 competitors anticipated. All five weekly divisions will be in action for a full race card.
June 15 – DIRTcar Pro-Stock Series / PM Promotions Series / Eastern Ontario Vintage Club
Pro-Stock takes center stage with a round of the DIRTcar Pro-Stock Series, alongside the second race of the new PM Promotions Series, which debuts in Mohawk on June 13. A deep field of over 30 cars is expected to compete. The Eastern Ontario Vintage Club joins the program, along with a complete schedule of weekly divisions.
June 22 – Empire Super Sprints, Street Stock & Midget STR
The lone appearance of the Empire Super Sprints in 2025 brings high-octane 360 Sprint Car action to Cornwall. Local favorite Jordan Poirier will aim to continue his dominance. Street Stock and Midget STR classes are also on the docket. Note: 358-Modifieds, Pro-Stock, and Novice Sportsman will have the night off.
June 29 – Super DIRTcar Big Block Series ($10,000 to Win)
The month concludes with one of the year’s biggest events: the Super DIRTcar Big Block Series returns with a 100-lap feature offering $10,000 to the winner. With over 20 touring drivers following the series, fans can expect a star-studded field including Mat Williamson, Matt Sheppard, and Alex Yankowski. The Farnham Ale Pro-Stock Series and the Mod Lite division will also be in action. (Novice Sportsman and Mini-Stock divisions are off.)
