Cornwall, ON – Sunday, August 10, 2025 – Martin Belanger – Another hot evening at the Cornwall Motor Speedway as Burnbrae Farms sponsored a full program as the Lightning Sprints and Eastern Ontario Vintage Club paid a visit to the speedway.

Brianna Ladouceur was the early leader in the 35-lap JLB Heating and Cooling 358-Modified over Brian McDonald and Gabriel Cyr. Brianna got into slower cars by lap 13. Ladouceur and McDonald had a great battle for the lead as Brianna was able to keep the lead as the top 4 got closer. Corey Wheeler found something in the inside lane as he passed Wheeler to third. McDonald made a pass on Ladouceur on lap 30 as Wheeler moved to second on the following lap. McDonald led the final laps to get his first win of 2025 over Wheeler and Gabriel Cyr.

In the 25-lap Next Level Home Improvement Sportsman, brothers Brennan and Dylan Moore were on the top row as Brennan led the first 3 laps as current points leader Tristan Ladouceur brought caution on lap 3. On the restart, Dylan Moore took the lead as Justin Desrosiers was in third. The leaders were in heavy traffic with 5 laps to go as both brothers were in a battle for the lead. Dylan got caught with a slower car and Brennan Moore got the lead and won his second feature over Justin Desrosiers and Eliott Gamache.

Jocelyn Roy led the first 2 laps in the Alexandria Home Hardware Pro-Stock as caution was out on lap 2. On the restart Roy and Marc Lalonde went into battle for the lead. Ricky Thompson brought the caution on lap 7. Roy back in front of Lalonde and Kevin Fetterly in third. Lalonde found something on the inside as he took the lead at halfway point over Roy. A lot of action to start the 20-lap Eastern Ontario Vintage Club between Ian Gordon and Randy Gaudet as Gaudet got the lead. Gaudet got into lap traffic at halfway point of the feature. Ian Gordon surprised Gaudet in the traffic and got the feature win in the 70-80 division while Pete Stapper was victorious in the 50-60 division.
