Felix Roy claims the $5,057 paycheck at Cornwall Motor Speedway!

Cornwall, Ont. – Sunday, June 28, 2026 – Martin Belanger — A busy night of racing on Casselman Cement as round 1 of the Fat Les Chips Stand Canadian Nationals with a special 57-lap event with a $5,057 to win along with the DIRTcar Sportsman Series/Battle on the Border Series, the Lightning Sprints, Mini-Stock, Novice Sportsman.

Ryan Stabler took the lead in the 57-lap Fat Les Chip Stand Canadian Nationals feature with Eliott Gamache and Steve Bernard behind him. Stabler quickly got into lap traffic by lap 10. Gabriel Cyr brought the first caution of the evening. On the restart, Gamache took the lead over Stabler as he faded to fourth with Felix Roy now in the mix running in third. Gamache got to heavy traffic on lap 25. The leaders were running with the slower cars and had an impact on the lead pack with Roy moving to second with 27 laps to go. David Hebert was back in the mix running in third with less than 20 to go. Kalen Draper slowed the field on lap 38. Felix Roy took the lead over Gamache on the restart as Stabler moved back in the top 3. Roy joined the lap traffic on lap 50. Roy went on to led the final laps to cash in the $5,057 over Gamache and Louie Jackson Jr.

Skylar Ladouceur took the early lead in the 50-lap DIRTcar Sportsman/Battle on the Border Series as he had Jacob Nadeau running strong behind him with Josh Jock in third. The leaders got into heavy traffic with 15 laps in the record books. What a battle for the lead with Ladouceur, Nadeau and Jock exchanging some paint with Ladouceur staying first with 30 laps to go. Nadeau took the inside lane and passed Ladouceur at halfway point! The speedway started to pick some rubber and Tristan Ladouceur was able to take second with Josh Jock able to pass in third. Nadeau never looked back to win his second feature in a row at the speedway.

Etienne Arpin was the man to beat in the Lightning Sprints as he set the pace early on in the 25-lao feature event, Arpin had an early battle with Kevin Boucher-Carrier, but the series point leader we strong right off the trailer and went to win the event over Boucher-Carrier and Xavier Lauzon.

Sebastien Raymond-Beauregard led the field of 25 Mini-Stocks to the green in the 20-lap feature, caution was out on lap 3. On the restart, Pierre Picard took the lead over Raymond-Beauregard and Travis Lamarche, the yellow lights were out on lap 11. A good battle went on behind Picard as Lamarche moved to second. Picard led the final portion and took the feature, his first win of the season over Raymond Beauregard and Lamarche.

Brogan Roberts made his first presence ever in the Novice Sportsman and dominated the 20-lap feature, leading all lap in the feature to grab a first feature at Cornwall.

A busy weekend ahead with the best deal of the season next Sunday with the $5 general admission night with a complete race program and the Street Stock making their second visit. Then 2 days later, the Super DIRTcar Big Block Series is back on Tuesday evening with the O’Canada 75, the DIRTcar Pro-Stock Series and the Battle for a Cure Mini-Stock Series with a $1,000 to win feature.
